New Years Resolutions

January 6, 10 //

In some ways my life has changed a lot over the last year, and in some ways, it hasn’t changed at all. I don’t know what this next year will bring but I’ll try my best to nail down these resolutions.

  1. Buy a place. This is one I’m most looking forward to. Nothing quite like place to call home. Will also help me get started on Sleepymoon.net in a big way. (This should help #3)
  2. More media. Blogging, podcasting, drawing, whatever. Put more effort and energy into the creative stuff. More of it ALL.
  3. Eat healthier. This will hopefully be easier after #1 where we control the food we buy, eat, grow and store.
  4. Don’t become complacent. Buying a place in the city and doing the day job hamster wheel thing breeds complacency, debt, bad choices, etc.
  5. Life. Enjoy friends, be social, enjoy life, be in the now.

I guess technically it’s the 6th, but who’s counting?

The Network

I’ve had this internal struggle for a while now as to what to do with my digital creativity. Do I put it all in one spot? Split it up? If so, how?

I came to the conclusion that my interests are far too varied to have a single place for everything that interests me. Starting up SleepySky was a good start and gave me another outlet for a more specific topic. Obviously the target for SleepySky may not necessarily care about what I’m doing in SC2 or whatever. From that point the idea developed, and I’ve decided to maintain the different identities but put them in a central location; thus the KOALAMO network was born.

With it, my only intention I have is to have everything I do collected into one spot. It’s much easier to answer the ‘what do you do?’ question when you can provide one link instead of 17.

Bananatron.com will maintain to be my blog with my silly drawings about my boring life. The issue to crosspost or bring attention to posts on some of my other sites is still being hottly debated by the two politicians in my head, but what I DO know is that I want bananatron to hold it’s own identiy, and not simply be a huge reblog hub for everything else.
